After the initial sea trials and certainly after the first season of sailing the design and construction of your rig will have been thoroughly tested. If there is a problem with the carbon structure, the rigging materials, or the workmanship it will show up initially.

Then there are two things most likely to bring down your rig. The first is the "traumatic sailing experience" such as slamming into a wave, rolling, pitch poling, or driving your spinnaker pole into the water. The second is a fatigued metal fitting.

How often do I need these services?

That depends entirely on how you sail, how often and the types of conditions you sail in. Certainly a yacht that spends 99% of the time tied up in the slip will not need our services as often as a world cruiser or grand prix racer.
